The X-Large PawPad® measures 98" x  60"

If you're using it on your bed, it covers 70%+ of the surface area. PawPad® can be placed horizontally across the bed to cover side to side and allow for overhang on both sides or vertically if you and your pet(s) sleep on your own sides.

If your pet sleeps towards the bottom half of the bed, it works best having it positioned across the width of the bed, horizontally, about 2/3 of the way up so it still hangs over the end a bit. If your dog(s) or cat(s) sleeps on their "side," perhaps as far up as the pillows, you may prefer to turn the PawPad® vertically so it covers the full length of the bed and still has some overhang.

Some dogs are diggers. To keep the PawPad® from moving, you can simply attach some inexpensive plastic "chip clips" from the Dollar Store to give it some extra holding power. These work great on the couch as well. Make sure to buy the kind with rubber pads on the inside of the clips (not metal), so if your dog dashes off quickly (think doorbell ringing), neither the fabric nor the PawPad® will get torn.

PawPad® has rounded corners and is trimmed with matching piping. The colours you see are as accurate a representation of the colours available. That said, every computer is different so the actual colours may look slightly different in your own home.

The outside layers are strong, soft, and durable, 100% knit polyester and the waterproof inner layer is thermo-polyurethane. 

Washing Instructions

We recommend that you wash your new PawPad® in cold or warm water and put it in the dryer on the low or medium setting before your first use (see label for complete instructions). It's also best not to use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Washing it first help's to remove the wrinkles from packaging, ensure it’s soft and cozy for your pet(s) and, that it "smells" like your home which your pet is already used to.

If your PawPad® gets stained, there are various ways to remove the stains. You can spray them with a commercial product like Shout® or perhaps you prefer a more natural stain remover that you can make on your own (see the Recipe on our FAQ's page).

Use PawPad® Everywhere

PawPad® is great for dogs and cats of all ages and stages. It's so versatile, and can be used flat on beds, comforters, carpets, and rugs or folded for use on a couch, chair, back seat of the car, to wrap an existing pet bed, as a crate or carry case liner, for traveling, picnics, the beach, camping and more. Also works great for people too, from babies to seniors It's so handy, you may want more than one. 

Going for a walk or a hike with your furry friend? In the car, shedding and wet and dirty dogs are super messy, especially if you have cloth seats. Fold your PawPad® in half and use it on the back seat bench, or use it full size to cover the back seat part too. Just tuck it into where the back and bench meet, around the headrests and sides. 

It's also great for traveling. Perhaps you're visiting someone who does not have a pet but they're OK with you bringing yours. Be a thoughtful guest and cover the bed you're sleeping in or the couch you're sitting on.

Take your PawPad® with you on a picnic, to the beach, or when you go camping. It's so light and easy to just "fold and go" at a moment's notice.

Reusable Bag

When you receive your PawPad® you'll find that the handle bag that it comes in is perfect for many other uses. Rather than throwing it away, it can be an excellent travel bag to hold all your lotions, creams, and other toiletries. How about using it for your crafts and sewing (yarn, etc.), scrapbooking materials, or kids' toys?

Keep it to take your PawPad® with you when you travel to someone’s home so your pet is welcome there too.

It can be used as a shoe, boot, or slipper bag in inclement weather.
